Reading the route
Trail du Hautacam 70 km starts in front of the Renault garage in Beaucens, at 5 am, for a dense loop of Pyrenean peaks and ridges.
From Villelongue, the trail climbs to Pic de Nerbiou, then on to its highest point, at 2,156 m.
It then drops via Col de Moulata, across pastoral plateaus, before passing Ourdon then Soum de Trées, in the Gazost valley.
The trail climbs one last time to the summit of Hautacam, above the ski station, before closing the loop at Beaucens.
