Reading the route
The start is in Moena, at 8:00 for the lead group, then in groups roughly every 7 minutes. The route runs through Soraga, then Pozza di Fassa, at km 8.7. It continues through Pera, Mazzin, Fontanazzo and Campitello before reaching Canazei, where it turns back at km 18.6, at the foot of the route's highest point, 1,457 m. Canazei must be passed before 12:50.
The way back passes through Campestrin, then Mazzin and Pera again. It crosses Pozza di Fassa and Soraga again, to be passed before 14:30, then Moena, at km 35.8. The route continues through Forno and Predazzo, at km 45.6, to be passed before 15:50. It then reaches Ziano di Fiemme, at km 49.7.
The route passes Lago di Tesero, at km 54.1, then Masi and Cascata, to be passed before 17:30. It reaches Molina di Fiemme, where it turns back at km 63.6. The last climb, at Cascata before Cavalese, gains 148 m, with an average grade of 8.8% and sections up to 20%. The finish is in Cavalese, after 70 km, for an announced elevation gain of 1,030 m.
