Reading the route
The loop climbs to the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, three rock towers that rise above the Dolomites, at the Forcella Lavaredo.
23:00, in Cortina d'Ampezzo: once night falls, the loop gets underway. The route first climbs to the Passo Tre Croci, then passes Lake Misurina, on the scree and gravel typical of the Dolomites.
It then reaches the Forcella Lavaredo, at the foot of the Tre Cime, before dropping to Cimabanche. The route's longest climb follows, later on, toward the Rifugio Col Gallina.
The route crosses the Passo Giau, then the Rifugio Croda da Lago, before the finish back in Cortina d'Ampezzo. 30 hours, clock running, before the course closes.

The route, drawn with a pen
The relief of the course, a loop from Cortina d'Ampezzo, takes shape as contour lines: our pen plotter draws it with a pen, line by line. Your finisher name and time go in the cartouche, in A4, A3 or A2.
