Reading the route
Julian Alps 120K starts at night: the race sets off from Radovljica at 9 pm, a point-to-point run to Kranjska Gora, through the Slovenian Julian Alps.
The trail first climbs toward Galetovec, across ridges and forest, then drops near Bled, before passing through Žirovnica, in the valley.
It then climbs to Med Stoloma, on the Stol ridge — the course's highest point, at 2,163 m — before crossing the Sedlo Kočna and Rožca passes.
It still passes Gozd Martuljek before reaching Kranjska Gora. Runners have 32 hours to reach the finish.
