Reading the route

The start is at Øster Allé, next to Fælledparken, at 9:30, in waves. The route passes Trianglen at km 6, then Østerbro and Strandboulevarden, before Knippelsbro, at km 9.9. The course crosses Christianshavn, then Langebro and Rådhuspladsen. It reaches Dronning Louises Bro at km 14.4.

The route continues toward Nørrebro, then on to Frederiksberg, before passing through Frederiksberg Allé at km 24.6. It crosses Tivoli, then Istedgade at km 28.5, before reaching Vesterbro. The course then reaches Kongens Nytorv at km 33.5. 10 aid stations line the route along the way.

The route then passes Nyhavn, then Amalienborg and Marmorkirken. It reaches Nyboder at km 36.6. The course passes Trianglen for the third time before heading back toward Øster Allé. The finish is at Øster Allé, next to Fælledparken, after 42.195 km. The net time limit is 6 hours.
