This marathon runs, point-to-point, from Carcavelos to central Lisbon. The start goes off in the Torre neighborhood, at 8 am.
The route follows the coast toward Cascais, passes the Boca do Inferno cliffs, then comes back through Estoril before crossing Paço de Arcos and Caxias on the way into Lisbon.
From there it reaches the Tagus quays by the Aquário Vasco da Gama, crosses the Belém district — the Torre de Belém, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos — with the Ponte 25 de Abril in view, then passes the Museu Nacional dos Coches.
It continues through Alcântara, then the city avenues, on to Praça do Comércio, on the bank of the Tagus. The cut-off is set at 6 hours.

Start: Carcavelos. Finish: Praça do Comércio (Lisbonne), 42.195 km further on. The 2026 edition was run on Saturday, 10 October 2026. First landmark on Plotrek's route: Boca do Inferno, at km 11.1. Times and course can change from one edition to the next; the organiser's website prevails.
Landmarks on Plotrek's route: Boca do Inferno at km 11.1, Estoril at km 15.3, Aquário Vasco da Gama at km 31.7, then Musée national des Carrosses at km 35.8. The last one, Musée national des Carrosses, is about 6.2 km from the finish, Praça do Comércio (Lisbonne).
