100Miler 3K3H follows old Iron Curtain paths, along the border between Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. The start, in Haidmühle, is at 2 pm, in early afternoon.
The trail passes Schwarzenthal, then climbs in turn to the wooded summits of Almberg and Sulzberg.
It then passes Schwendreut and the summit of Haidel, before climbing to the high point, Bayerischer Plöckenstein, at 1,356 m, near the tripoint border.
The trail drops via Riedelsbach before closing the loop at Haidmühle. Runners get thirty-four hours to complete these forest trails.

The organiser announces 168 km for the 2026 edition. Plotrek's illustrative route, redrawn on OpenStreetMap paths, measures 164.8 km and 5,582 m of gain. It is a loop, with Haidmühle as start and finish, Haidel at km 89.2 and Bayerischer Plöckenstein at km 125.9. The elevation loss measured on this route is 5,583 m.
34 hours for the 2026 edition, according to the organiser's website, read on 17 September 2026. That is the time allowed to cover the announced 168 km. Start: Haidmühle, at 2 pm. The time limit can change from one edition to the next; the organiser's rules prevail.
Bayerischer Plöckenstein, at 1,356 m, at km 125.9 of Plotrek's route. The high point lies between two landmarks of the course: Haidel (1,171 m, km 89.2) and Riedelsbach (1,005 m, km 139.3). The start and finish are both at 838 m. Altitudes measured on the route, with a terrain model.
