Reading the route
This Dutch marathon crosses Rotterdam from one bank to the other, between the Schiedamsedijk and the Coolsingel, in the city centre. The route links both banks across much of its distance.
The start goes off at 10 am. The route crosses the Erasmusbrug, then reaches the Kop van Zuid and the IJsselmondseplein.
It then passes the Spinozaweg, close to the Feijenoord Stadium and the Ahoy arena, before the Havenspoorpad, the Oldegaarde, the Dorpsweg and the Laan op Zuid.
It finally reaches the Warande, the Boszoom and the Kralingse Plas, then the Markthal and the Ammanplein, before the finish on the Coolsingel, in central Rotterdam; the finish line closes 5 hours 30 minutes after the start.
