This Dutch marathon crosses Rotterdam from one bank to the other, between the Schiedamsedijk and the Coolsingel, in the city centre. The route links both banks across much of its distance.
The start goes off at 10 am. The route crosses the Erasmusbrug, then reaches the Kop van Zuid and the IJsselmondseplein.
It then passes the Spinozaweg, close to the Feijenoord Stadium and the Ahoy arena, before the Havenspoorpad, the Oldegaarde, the Dorpsweg and the Laan op Zuid.
It finally reaches the Warande, the Boszoom and the Kralingse Plas, then the Markthal and the Ammanplein, before the finish on the Coolsingel, in central Rotterdam; the finish line closes 5 hours 30 minutes after the start.

Start: Schiedamsedijk. Finish: Coolsingel, 42.195 km further on. The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday, 11 April 2027. For the 2026 edition, the organiser's website gives a start time of 10 am. First landmark on Plotrek's route: IJsselmondseplein, at km 5. Times and course can change from one edition to the next; the organiser's website prevails.
Landmarks on Plotrek's route: Spinozaweg at km 10.6, Dorpsweg at km 21.7, then Laan op Zuid at km 25.4. The last one, Laan op Zuid, is about 16.8 km from the finish, Coolsingel. These landmarks are a selection of named places along the route, not a full list of what it passes.
5 hours 30 minutes to cover the 42.195 km, according to the organiser's website (2026 edition, read on 17 September 2026). That is an average pace of about 7 min 49 s per kilometre over the whole distance. The time limit can change from one edition to the next; the organiser's rules prevail.
