Reading the route
The route follows the road, with four categorised climbs and passes along the way. The start is in Chambéry, at 302 m elevation. At km 24.4, you pass through Cusy, at 588 m. The highest point of the course follows at the Col des Prés, at km 50, at 1,148 m.
The longest climb of the course gains 586 m, from km 30 to km 50, and ends at the Col des Prés. You then carry on to the Col de Couz, at km 85.8, at 637 m, and on to Massieu, at km 117.3, at 466 m. Oyeu follows at km 134.5, at 548 m.
Colombe comes at km 144.7, at 481 m, then Beaucroissant at km 156.6, at 434 m. The finish is in Voiron, at km 175.1, at 287 m elevation, close to the 302 m of the start. Over the whole course, you total 2,944 m of climbing and 2,959 m of descent.
