Reading the route

The course starts in Tarragona, at 21 m of elevation. It passes el Vendrell at km 26.5, at 46 m, then Vilanova i la Geltrú at km 44.4, at 27 m. Sitges follows at km 56.3, at 30 m.

The longest climb of the course gains 411 m, from km 79.5 to km 94.6, between Sitges and the Coll del Corral, heading towards Begues. The high point, at 438 m, is at the Coll del Corral, at km 110.6. The course then drops down to Molins de Rei, at km 124.1, at 32 m.

The Montjuïc circuit is covered three times: the Castell de Montjuïc, at 168 m, is crossed at km 141.8, 154.0 and 166.2, and each lap passes close to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The finish is in Barcelona, at km 168.8, at 100 m of elevation. In total, the course adds up to 1,965 m of climbing and 1,885 m of descent.
