Reading the route
The start is in La Villa, at Str. Ninz 65 (Badia), at 06:15, 1,445 m above sea level. The route first crosses the Passo Campolongo (km 9.5, 1,876 m), then the Passo Pordoi (km 22.8, 2,243 m), the highest point of the course, before the Passo Sella (km 34.9, 2,239 m). The whole course runs over paved alpine passes, between the Alta Badia and Val Gardena valleys.
It then crosses the Passo Gardena (km 46, 2,121 m), before going over the Passo Campolongo again (km 61, 1,876 m), a second crossing, and heading toward the Passo Giau. The longest climb of the course, 893 m of elevation gain from km 87.3 to km 97.1, leads to the Passo Giau (km 97.1, 2,220 m).
The route then crosses the Passo Valparola (km 118.8, 2,195 m). The last kilometres, before the finish, include the final climb of the Mür dl Giat. The finish is in Corvara in Badia (km 138.3, 1,525 m), after 4,230 m of elevation gain, within a 10-hour cutoff, which puts the latest finish at 16:15.
