Reading the route
The start is in Saint-Félicien between 7:30 and 8:30, for a 221 km loop. The Col du Buisson, at 920 m, comes before Nozières and Lamastre. Lamastre, at km 27.1, must be passed before 10:30. The Col des Nonières, at 671 m, leads to Le Cheylard, at km 48, to be passed before 11:15. Dornas follows, then the Col de Mézilhac, at 1,119 m and km 70.3, before 12:30.
The route continues through Laviolle and Antraigues, then the Col d'Aizac, at 643 m. Labastide-sur-Bésorgues and Burzet come before the Col de la Barricaude, at 1,257 m and km 115.6. Sagnes-et-Goudoulet leads to the Col du Gerbier de Jonc, at km 128.1, the highest point of the route at 1,417 m, to be crossed before 14:00.
Saint-Martial and Arcens come before Saint-Martin-de-Valamas. Next is Saint-Agrève, at km 167.2. The Col de la Clavière, at 1,088 m, comes before the Col de Rochepaule, at 892 m, then Lalouvesc, at 1,092 m and km 195. Pailharès leads back to Saint-Félicien, after 221 km and 10 climbs.
