Reading the route

The half marathon starts in waves from Boulevard Saint-Germain, by the Institut du Monde Arabe. Roads are closed to traffic. The route passes Quai Saint-Bernard and the Jardin des Plantes. It then reaches Quai d'Austerlitz, then Quai François-Mauriac. At km 2.8, it crosses Pont de Tolbiac. Aid stations and timing points come up every 5 km. The course continues past Bercy and Rue de Charenton, reaching Porte de Charenton at km 4.9.

After Porte de Charenton, the course enters the Bois de Vincennes by Avenue de Gravelle. At km 10.1, it follows Route de la Pyramide, then passes Château de Vincennes at km 12.2. The route joins Avenue Daumesnil and Porte Dorée at km 14.6. It continues along Boulevard de Bercy.

The route then follows Quai de la Rapée along the riverbanks, at km 18.1. It passes Pont Morland and Quai des Célestins, before the Hôtel de Ville. Rue de Rivoli comes at km 19.9, then Rue Saint-Antoine leads to Place de la Bastille, after 21.1 km. The finish is on Rue de Lyon, with a final aid station. The time limit is 3 hours from the last runner's start.
